报告内容介绍：
The existence of rational curves with trivial normal bundleplays a significant role in the study of Fano manifolds of Picard number one. We use wonderful compactification, grouptheory, and birational geometry to construct a number of (possibly singular) Fano threefolds containing a rational curvewith trivial normal bundle. We also use these elementarymethods to describe the universal family of lines on quintic delPezzo threefolds and conics on Mukai-Umemura threefolds. The talk is based on a joint work with Jun-Muk Hwang.
